INTRODUCTION

Employee satisfaction is the terminology used to


describe whether employees are happy and contented and fulfilling
their desires and needs at work. The strength of any organization is
its people. If people are attended to properly by recognising their
talents, developing their capabilities and utilizing them
appropriately, organizations are likely to be dynamic and grow fast.
Ultimately the variety of tasks in any organization has to be
accomplished by people.
People may be
treated as resources available for the organization. So that we have
to give much importance employee and their satisfaction. By
nature, unlike other resources available, these resources are
dynamic.

TATA TELESEVICES LIMITED(TTSL)


 
Tata Teleservices (TTSL) spearheads the Tata group’s presence in the
telecom sector. Incorporated in 1996. the company was the first to launch CDMA
mobile services in India with the Andhra Pradesh circle.
The company has also received the license from the Department of
Telecommunications to launch GSM services.

OBJECTIVES
PRIMARY OBJECTIVE
∙To study the factors that influences the job satisfaction of the
employees.

SECONDARY OBJECTIVES
• To study the employer - employee relationship in the
organization
• To study the employer’s approach towards employees
• To study the Working condition in the organization
• To study about theCompensation package to employee
• Provide findings and suggestion based on the survey.
RESEARCH METHODOLOGY

The method adopted in the study is


mostly of descriptive nature. In descriptive research designs,
data are collected and analyzed to make interpretations and
conclution. Descriptive research, also known as statistical
research, describes data and characteristics about the
population and phenomenon being studied
I used three importance methods for collection.
• 1.using documents
• 2.by observation
• 3.questionnair method
COLLECTION OF DATA

. PRIMARY DATA
Primary data was collected through interviews
and well designed and purposefully created questionnaires.

. SECONDARY DATA
Secondary data was collected by means of
magazines, text books, company document, company website
and other related websites. 
SAMPLING SIZE
The total sample size of the respondents is 40 from the
population of 163 .

DATA ANALYSIS
The data analysis and the findings are derived
from the data prepared on the basis of the survey conducted
with the help of the questionnaire .Percentage analysis were
used as statistical tool.Different charts were used for
interpretation like pie-chart,bar diagram,line diagram etc.
LIMITATIONS OF THE STUDY

1. The analysis of the study has mainly depended on the


personal views of the respondents .
2. The study was conducted in cochin and the findings can’t be
generalized to all areas.
3. The period of the study was limited to 45 days .
SUMMARY OF FINDINGS

• Transparency in communication between the senior leaders and


employees is less.
• Effective communication channel and forums , results in open
feedback system.
• Employees were satisfied with competitive compensation
package provided by the company
• Company gives importance to career development or career
growth for the employees.
• Hygienic work environment, organization provides areas for
work life balance improvement especially for woman work
force.
• Effective reward and recognition for the employee
performers.
SUGGESTION
• There should be transparency between employer and
employees.
• Every small contribution can be recognized.
• More engagement activities can be organized
monthly/weekly.
• Work hours can be minimised.
