SEWERAGE SYSTEM

FROM
LARECH COLONY TO
GULSHAN- E- RAVI, LAHORE

(BY USING TRENCHLESS TECHNOLOGY)

NEED OF THE PROJECT
 Lahore is the 2nd largest city of Pakistan and capital of province
Punjab with a population of more than 11.00 Million.

 The sewerage system of the project area was laid 25 to 60 years

back, mainly consisting of R.C.C. sewers along with a network of
egg-shaped brick masonry sewers.

 The current system is deficient for the present population and has
outlived its operational life and frequent maintenances are
required.
 At many locations, lift stations are constructed which are
pumping sewage directly into the nearby drains to work as
sullage carriers.
