BIM 360 DOCS INTERFACE – ARCHITECT

Autodesk® BIM 360™ is a cloud-based document management platform that improves project
delivery and outcomes. BIM 360 supports maintaining centralised database for all submissions form
consultants and project team throughout the project lifecycle for project, design, and construction
teams.

BIM 360 connects teams and data in real-time, empowering project members to review, optimize, and
manage all aspects of project performance.

STEP 1: UPLOAD/SHARED FOLDER (ARCHITECT)
1. All the documents to be submitted by ARCHITECT
shall be uploaded in the SHARED folder only.
2. All submissions shall be in two formats (Editable and
Non-editable).
• Editable include word, excel, ppt, drawings
in .dwg fomat.
• Non-editable includes PDFs including the
drawings.
• Design model files in staad shall be uploaded
in actual format.
3. ARCHITECT shall upload the drawings in correct
respective folders, considering the stage of
submission.
4. Naming of documents is very critical. The document
names shall be as short as possible, with clear
information on project abbreviation, structure name,
floor name, layout/plan, cross section, details,
elevations, etc.
5. Every document shall have revision number at the
end of name only.
6. An example for naming convention on next page.
7. After uploading the documents with naming
conventions, PEB consultant shall notify ITC through
Transmittal. See next pages.

STEP 2: INITIATE REVIEW (ITC PACKAGE MANAGER)

STEP 3: FIRST REVIEWERs (ITC PACKAGE MANAGER)

1. First reviewers can find information on reviews assigned to them by clicking on REVIEWS tab.
2. First reviewers shall click on the document to be reviewed, then a following screen appears as below;

review.
6. Tools for markups can be seen on the right side.
7. Reviewers shall add markups and ensure every markup is saved before
closing the review.
8. Add suitable comment as a general note for status of review. Eg.
“Approved” or “Rejected” or “Approved with comments”

9. Submit the review by clicking on the Submit review tab.


10. All markups will be saved on the file, and can be viewed by opening the file from shared folder.
