Engagemen Describe your idea of community using the acronym of the word “COMMUNITY”. C O M M U N I T Y Community - from the Latin word, “communis” which means common or shared
-may be de defined bt two characteristics:
location and social identification Communities may be formed in two ways:
1. Geographical -members share the same geographical vicinity such as a village, province, or neighborhood
2. Non-geographical - formed based on needs, ideas, interests, identity, practices, and roles in social institutions such as at home, all work, in government, society Levels:
1. Micro Level - based on personal ties e.g. small organization
