Peopleware

Peopleware is a term used to refer to one of the
three core aspects of computer technology i.e.
hardware, software and peopleware. It can
refer to anything that has to do with the role of
people in the development or use of computer
software and hardware components.

Peopleware can be
divided into two
distinct groups:

1. Computer
professionals
2. Computer user
Computer
Professionals:

 These are individuals

who have in one way

or the other required

formal education or

training in the use of

computers.

Computer Companies Generally
consists of three major
parties:

 The function of this department
is to analyze and design
computer systems suitable for
various entities.

THE PROGRAMMER

Responsible for writing


computer programs for use in
areas such as the program
about commodity trading . the
program applies to the
account . programs or systems
of large organizations.
THE ANALYST

Analysts create diagrams to help


programmers and architects
build computer systems.
Computer systems analysts,
sometimes called systems
architects, study an
organization's current computer
systems and procedures and
design improvements to them. In
doing so, these analysts help the
organization operate more
efficiently.
THE DATABASE ADMINISTRATORS

Ensure databases run


efficiently. Database
administrators and architects
create or organize systems to
store and secure a variety of
data, such as financial
information and customer
shipping records. They also
make sure that the data are
available to authorized users.
THE SYSTEM ADMINISTRATORS

Also known as sysadmins—


are information technology
(IT) professionals who make
sure an organization's
computer systems are
functioning and meet the
needs of the organization.
Sysadmins support,
troubleshoot, and maintain
computer servers and
networks
THE NETWORK ADMINISTRATORS

Network and computer systems


administrators are responsible for the
day-to-day operation of these
networks. They organize, install, and
support an organization's computer
systems, including local area
networks (LANs), wide area networks
(WANs), network segments,
intranets, and other data
communication system
THE WEBMASTER

The Webmaster serves as


the primary contact for all aspects of the
organizations
website(s), handling a range of
responsibilities that may include web design and
development, routine site and content maintenance, and various
updates to ensure sites align with the goals and objectives of the
company.
THE COMPUTER TECHNICIAN

Computer technicians
install, maintain, and
troubleshoot hardware and
software for businesses
and organizations.
Depending on what type of
company you work for, your
day-to-day tasks may
include: Setting up
hardware and installing
software.
THE GAME DEVELOPERS

Take a designer's concepts


and build them into a
playable game for users.
Video game developers,
also known as games
developers or video game
programmers, write code for
games for a variety of
formats, such as PCs,
consoles, web browsers
and mobile phones.
COMPUTER USERS

These are the group of


people who make use of
the computer system in
discharging their day-to-
day activities or simply
those who work with the
computer system. These
people may not have had
any formal training in a
computer but can
exchange their services
of some computer
professionals.
