ANALYSIS ON DIGITALIZATION OF
HDFC BANK LIMITED

COMPANY PROFILE:-
• The Housing Development Finance Corporation Limited (HDFC)Was incorporated in
August 1994 with its registered office in Mumbai, India.
• HDFC Bank commenced operations as a Scheduled Commercial Bank in January
1995.
• The reported profit of HDFC Bank – Rs.14152.0Cr. as on per quarter 1(2021-22).The
capital of the bank is Rs.985Cr. as on SEP 30,2018.
• MANAGEMENT -Mr. Jadish Kapoor took over as the bank’s Chairman in July 2001.
Mr. Aditya Puri, is the Managing Director.

• The bank has three key business areas:


1)Wholesale Banking Services(services provided to organizations, large corporate clients).
2) Retail Banking Services (services provided to general customers also known as customer banking)
3) Treasury Operations (Within this business, the bank has three main product are asa) Foreign
Exchange and Derivatives b)Local Currency Money Market & c) Debt Securities and Equities)
OBJECTIVE OF THE STUDY:-
• Analyzed awareness among the customers about the usage of Net Banking
services.
• Knowing the confidence level of the customers who uses digital services.
• For studying the stretch of digital footprint that the bank has marked.
• To evaluate the customer satisfaction that avail the products and services
offered by the HDFC bank.
RESEARCH METODOLOGY:-

• RESEARCH DESIGN : Descriptive, Questionnaire.

• DATA COLLECTION : Primary & Secondary Data.

• SAMPLING METHOD : Convenience Sampling.

• SAMPLING SIZE : 100 Respondents.

• SAMPLING TECHNIQUE : Non-Probability Technique.

Making bill payments i.e. 46% , While 26% of respondents uses feature for transfer of
Funds , For downloading & viewing the bank statement 21% respondents uses digital
banking, Where 7.0% respondents uses the online feature of digital banking of
booking tickets.

that the no. of respondents
choose HDFC Bank as their digital banking option because Out of 100 respondents
36 respondents feel that it has faster service while 31 respondents feels User
friendly interface. 29 respondents choose because of Brand Name and 4
respondents says that they choose digital banking option because of period of
attachment.
