    Author’s Tone and Attitude
     Tone adalah sikap seorang penulis terhadap subjek
    bahasan pada tulisnya.
     Tone pada umumnya disampaikan penulis melalui pilihan-
    pilihan kata atau sudut pandang penulis tentang topik
    yang sedang dibahas dalam tulisannya.
     Setiap tulisan pasti memiliki pokok fikiran utama atau
    subjek yang sedang dibahas oleh penulis. Cara penulis
    melakukan pendekatan terhadap tema/subjek dari
    tulisannya, inilah yang kemudaian disebut Tone, Attitude,
    atau Mood penulis dalam sebuah text bahasa Inggris.
     Tone dalam sebuah tulisan bisa saja tergolong
    dalam serious, comic, sarcastic, concerned, irony,
    cynical  atau mungkin banyak lagi yang lainnya.

     Informal

    tone. Kata kuncinya adalah pathetic yang
    menunjukkan negativitas.
