Use the form (more + adjective) or (the most+adjective) for adjective ending
in the following suffixes: -ed, -ful, -ing, -ish and ous (more/the most useful,
More/the most boring, more/the most continuous)
EXAMPLE
They are more tired than me
They are the most tired workers I’ve ever seen
That film was more boring than this one.
That was the most boring film I have ever seen
When an adjective end in a consonant
+y, change the y to i and add –er or
the –est
For happy-happier/ the happiest,
Funny – funnier/the funniest,
Pretty – prettier/the prettiest
Sunny – sunnier/the sunniest
