COMMUNICATION

Language Barrier
• are conflicts with regards to
language and word meanings

• Ex. Differents languages


• Accent and dialect
• Use of Jargon and slang
Physical Barrier
• these are the natural or
environmental conditions that act
as barrier to communication.
Psychological Barrier
• mental barrier that refer to the social
and personal issues of the speaker
towards communicating with others.

• Examples:
• Shy
• Lack of confidence
• stress
• Family problem and depression
Cultural Barrier
• problems encountered by people
due to their own personal values,
beliefs and tradition.

• Ex. Races
• Religion
• Age
• Gender
Systematic Barrier
• refers to hindrances in the
structure and organization where
there is inefficient or lack of
appropriate information system
or communication channels.
Attitudinal Barrier
• conflicts from this barrier because of poor management, lack of
motivation, resistance or interpersonal conflicts.

• Ex. Talking with your classmate that you think annoying
