    ZOOM CLOUD
    MEETINGS
    APPLICATION

    INTRODUCTION
     The whole world feels the Corona virus (COVID-19) has a significant impact on all countries,
    be it social, psychological, economic, health, and all aspects of life. The coronavirus epidemic
    has impacted the education sector. In the estimate, 300 million students are interrupted by
    their school activities around the world and are threatened with their future education rights.
     This study aims to determine the importance of student perceptions as targets and measures
    for the success of higher education institutions.It has become a momentum for tertiary
    education in India to improve online learning through various platforms, one of which is the
    Zoom Cloud Meetings Application.
     the Zoom application has emerged as an alternative application used by most people in the
    world of education. It is the leader in modern enterprise video communications, with an easy,
    reliable cloud platform for video and audio conferencing, collaboration, chat, and webinars
    across mobile devices, desktops, telephones, and room systems.
    OBJECTIVES
     This study aims to study the perception of people
    towards the newly emerged video conferencing
    application i.e. zoom.
     To analyze the awareness among people about the

    different features of the zoom application.


     To determine the reliability and serurity of the zoom

    application.
     To determine the performance and the position of the

    brand in the digital market.


    RESEARCH METHODOLOGY

     Research design- The research design refers to the overall strategy that you choose
    to integrate the different components of the study in a coherent and logical way
    thereby ensuring you will effectively address the research problem; it constitutes
    the blue print for the collection , measurement and analysis of data.
     Source of Information - These sources are records of events and evidences as they
    are first described or actually happened without any interpretation or commentary.
    This is the information that is shown for the first time or original materials on
    which other research is based.
     Tools used for Data Collection- Data collection tools refers to the
    devices/instruments used to collect data such as a paper, questionnaire or computer
    assisted interviewing system.
     Data Analysis Techniques- Data analysis is a technique that typically involves
    multiple activities such as gathering , cleaning and organizing the data. These
    processes which usually include data analysis software are necessary to prepare the
    data for business purposes.
    LITERATURE REVIEW
     the Zoom application has emerged as an alternative application used by most people in
    the world of education. It is the leader in modern enterprise video communications, with
    an easy, reliable cloud platform for video and audio conferencing, collaboration, chat,
    and webinars across mobile devices, desktops, telephones, and room systems.
     It is a cloud-based video conferencing service. It is intended for businesses to work
    remotely and offers a wide range of services to accommodate any business’s needs.
    These include video and audio conferencing, collaboration, chat, and webinars.
     It supports both desktop and mobile users.
     Zoom has become extremely popular in the world of business with choosing to use the
    service.
     A Zoom Meeting is what you can use on a normal subscription and is intended for up to
    100 attendees. It also supports larger audiences with Zoom Rooms. These support up to
    500 slots for people, but it does require an additional subscription.
     The platform also supports social media integration like Zoom Live on Facebook
    DATA ANALYSIS AND
    INTERPRETATION
     HOW LONG HAVE RESPONDENTS BEEN USING ZOOM CLOUD
    MEETINGS APPLICATION?
     HOW SATISFY ARE THE RESPONDENTS WITH THE ZOOM?
     WHAT ALTERNATIVE BRAND WOULD THE RESPONDENTS GO FOR
    IF ZOOM WAS NOT AVAILABLE?
     Do zoom support team consider all the queries and helps in resolving all the
    problems faced by the user?
     DO RESPENDENTS FEEL SAFE AND SECURE WHILE USING THE
    ZOOM APP?
     Are the zoom meetings convinient and realiable for the respondents?
     Do respondents think the time limit for the
    confrence meetings should be extended?
     WHAT DURATION SHOULD BE THERE FOR A PARTICULAR
    MEETING?
     ARE RESPONDENTS SATISFIED WITH THE SCREEN SHARE
    FEATURE?
    FINDINGS
     The distribution of questionnaires is given to students consists of three
    components, namely information about video call applications, website
    applications, and social media.
     The questions are given to students in the form of a questionnaire aim to
    determine students' perceptions of the use of video calls, websites, and social
    media.
     The students have google hangouts meet and zoom cloud meetings to carry out
    learning in the form of video calls instead of face-to-face learning to practice
    speaking English. This can be seen from the results of the largest percentage,
    namely google hangouts meet by 55% and zoom cloud meetings by 50%.
     This data was confirmed by the results of interviews with students who stated
    that Google Meet and Zoom Cloud Meetings were easy to use and the quota
    requirement was not large either
     In addition, the online applications also have an attractive appearance and are
    easy to use.
    CONCLUSION
     This study concludes that students have used Zoom Cloud Meetings and
    Google Hangouts Meetings to practice in person with their friends. This
    is due to the ease of using the online application. They can use the online
    zoom application and google hangouts meeting via smartphone or
    laptop. However, for speaking learning activities carried out in a
    monologue, students have to use YouTube so that the teacher can make
    corrections whenever their assignments are. In addition, students also
    have to use Google Classroom in uploading practice assignments in the
    form of words or power points. For further research, the results suggest
    that researchers should prepare a longer research time in observing the
    use of online learning media so that the level of effectiveness on learning
    outcomes is maximum. In addition, research that can be continued to
    implement the online learning media in integrated English learning
    skills.
