Accomplishment Report
Hybrid teaching and Learning
for Face to Face
I. RATIONALE
March 2019 when the spread of the disease caused by viruses was
announced and it was called CORONA virus or COVID-19. the enrollment of students in the
school was stopped and there was a big change in the field of education because of this the
Department of Education under the leadership of Secretary Briones helped in how to continue
the education of the students. in collaboration with the department of education of so-called
learning modalities that are suitable for students as well as parents.
But according to DepEd Secretary Leonor Briones, there is a need for “human interaction”
for children. it is still necessary to follow the government's decision to allow limited face-to-
face. Human interaction is important for them to learn how to deal with fellow children,
with teachers, with adults w/in the school. If you can do this in spite of COVID-19’s even
limited scale then we will have fulfilled our mandate to help nurture a complete and whole
individual and not a robot, said Briones.

In order to meet the needs of the Department of Education for face-to-face limited
classes. Maysilo Elementary School under the leadership of our good principal helped each
other in preparing the things to be done, To be able to inter-act the online class and the face
to face classes we try to develop and create the combination of face-to-face and online
class that’s why we use the Hybrid Teaching even though there are many challenges when it
comes to internet.
Planning is key to the success of hybrid teaching, and this is especially true for hybrid. We
want to make sure that what you ask students to do online are a good fit for online, and that
the same is true for the face-to-face component. Each class session, regardless of format,
should seem like a natural fit for the medium, that what students are doing should be done
in that particular format. The hardest part of teaching hybrid is figuring out how to
integrate the two experiences so that they capitalize on and amplify each other.

Recommendation

 Hybrid teaching is one of the good example in teaching online and face to
face.
 Motivate learners to attend online and face to face.
 Strengthen the use of the internet in every school so that students who are
already online and face to face can be more active in participation in
different activities.
 Every teacher needs to have adequate skills and gadgets in teaching hybrid.

Conclusion:
It will be easier for every teacher to teach online and face to face through hybrid
but our education sector needs support to every school especially when it
comes to internet connection and innovative gadgets that will allocated to every
teacher and learners.

One common problem in the community are food specially in this time of

their activity in the module.
In line with the feeding program we are bless and thankful to our
stakeholders who share there love to our learners. With the help of the Rotary
Club of Malabon headed by Lao Thompson. Maysilo is very lucky to be part of
there feeding program it really helps a lot in our student. We start given them a
