Is a good leader are born or made?
“Leadership is not built on
personality and charisma (“You are
not born a leader”) but rather on
behaviour. This means good
leadership can be learned.”
Key Learning Points
 Good leaders are made not born. If you have
the desire and willpower, you can become an
effective leader. Good leaders develop through
a never ending process of self-study,
education, training, and experience. This
means, good leaders are continually working
and studying to improve their leadership skills.
Key Learning Points
 The new view on leadership – Leadership
does not reside in one great individual
influencing others, rather it is an influence
relationship among people (leaders with
followers) who intend changes that reflect
their mutual purpose.
Key Learning Points
 Good leadership is a process of
reflection and commitment for the 5
core practices. It is always a
challenge and a process of trying to
become a good leader.
