Evangelista family was known for their
religiosity. Francis, the youngest of the
family, learned how to pray the holy rosary
and the “oracion” at the age of 10. According

Anselmo is a proud grandfather to his 12
grandchildren. He often shared his childhood
experiences with them including stories during
the old times. He also demonstrated Filipino
values such as saying “po & opo”, pagmamano
etc. All these traits were being transferred to
and practiced by his grandchildren.
