students might find in this case. Critical thinking will
improve and help the students’ learning process
(Elmore & Coleman, 2019a).

1. Students

The results of this research is expected to help students


enhance their Critical Reading and Critical Thinking
skills by using caricature media. It will improve the
student’s ability in reading. The students also will be
more interesting to read an english text.

best strategy in teaching learning process of
discourses for students to critically investigate and
brings new ideas and often processes to the workplace
and for solving the problem issue surfaces in the

Research Population is a group of individuals who have the
same characteristic (Creswell, 2012). The population in
this research is the member of students in 9th grade of

classes. It is the grades of 9A, 9B, 9C. The total of
student is 120 students.

Research The test will be conducted before the writer doing a


treatment using caricature picture media. The aim of
this test is to find out the students’ ability reading

will be held in two section. First, pre-test and second
post-test.
