Other Mechanisms
• The anti-infective property of the enzyme complex may be explained
by enhanced phagocytic activity of natural killer cells and
macrophages due to trypsin1
• The combination has been shown to reduce the constant loss of
albumin and pre-albumin after surgical procedures2
• Consequently, it may prevent many of the life-threatening
postoperative complications, such as shock
