• Luke 21:24 And they shall fall by the edge of
the sword, and shall be led away captive
into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled. • Luke 21:25 And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring; •Luke 21:26 Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken. •Luke 21:27 And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. • Luke 21:28
And when these things
begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh. The Chronologically Event of the Second Coming of the Lord Jesus Christ •Matthew 24:1 And Jesus went out, and departed from the temple: and his disciples came to him for to shew him the buildings of the temple. •Matthew 24:2 And Jesus said unto them, See ye not all these things? verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down. •Matthew 24:3 And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world? I. The Sign of His Second Coming •Matthew 24:24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect. •Matthew 24:4 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you. •Matthew 24:5 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many. • Matthew 24:6 And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. • Matthew 24:7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. • Matthew 24:8 All these are the beginning of sorrows. II. The Two Face of His Coming A. One Face ( The Rapture) •1 Thess. 4:13 But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. •1 Thess. 4:14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. •1 Thess. 4:15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. •1 Thess.4:16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: •1 Thess.4:17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. •John 14:1 Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. •John 14:2 In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. •John 14:3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. b. Second Face ( The Revelation) • Rev.1:5 And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood, • Rev.1:6 And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen. • Rev.1:7 Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him.
