VARK LEARNING STYLES
VISUAL LEARNERS prefer written instructions, photographs
and illustrations. Hence they should be using easy to read,
handouts, making diagrams and flow charts for learning.
AURAL LEARNERS prefer listening to instructions and
remember through verbal repetition . They should discuss
concepts and use podcasts for their learning
READING & WRITING LEARNERS prefer for written
instruction and materials. They should be reading
recommended resources for clearing concepts.
KINESTHETIC LEARNERS prefer getting physically involved in
the learning and should use Hands-on technique for
learning.
It is however important to point out that the learning style in
not uni-modal, in fact is di or multi modal.
IDENTIFY YOUR OWN LEARNING STYLE
• Make a plan of how you will study for your MBBS program
• First identify your learning style
• Identify your strengths
• Write down the difficulties you face in learning
• How can you overcome these issues
• Identify the resources you need
