The arts and crafts of
MIMAROPA are a combination of designs
from indigenous people that resides in the
regions and the colorful and rich influence
from the Spanish conqueror. Most of their
crafts are made of materials that are abundant
in their areas.

MI MA RO PA
MIMAROPA generate a wide variety
of arts and crafts. The natural blooming of their inner
design influenced by nature's marvels and the intricate
combinations of the numerous materials that make
their products unique goes hand in hand with their
ingenuity in their indigenous ways.
MINDORO
The island of Mindoro in the Philipine
archipelago is home to the Mangyans, an umbrella
term of a number of indigenous tribes loosely
related by language, culture, and religion. After
Spanish colonization, the Mangyan tribes have
maintained their ancient script.
