ASTRONOMY/
SPACE (LOOKING BACK IN TIME)
Filip Paľo, Daniel Sedlák
WHAT IS IT?
Its baisically looking back in time at
space objects using telescopes or other devices that can see through space. With different type of rays we can see different prspective to our universe such as radio waves, x rays, gamma rays. SCIENTISTS
• There wasnt really any scientists
who talked about this only maybe Ole Roemer who talked about the speed of light or Ron Mallett, an astrophysicist who has dedicated much of his adult life to the notion that time travel is possible. And maybe einsteins theory of relativity HOW DOES IT WORK? . Statisticaly we dont see things as they are right now. So light travels to get places(299792458 m/s). So if i travel from earth to her some random galaxy that is around 5 billion light years away im seeing her the earth as it is 5 billion light years ago (example). But humans cannot see everywhere in space they can see only how far has gotten light from the beginning of the universe. We call that the observable universe.
fr 4 HOW DOES IT HELP US UNDERSTAND THE LAWS OF NATURE?
We see everything in past. It
heps us understand that we almost definatly arent alone in the universe because its so big and that time travelling exist. Whitch was thought impossible. Formation of Planetary systems- by looking back in time so far that the planets arent eaven formed scientists/astronomers gain insight about the procces of new born planets and death of stars and that heps us understand the laws of nature.
