    What is cyber security?
    • Cyber security standards are security standards which
    enable organizations to practice safe security
    techniques to minimize the number of successful
    cyber security attacks.

    Cyber security refers to the technologies and
    processes designed to protect computers, networks
    and data from unauthorized access, vulnerabilities and
    attacks delivered via the Internet by cyber criminals.
    • Though, cyber security is important for network, data
    and application security.

    • The first recorded cyber crime was recorded in the year 1820

    • The first spam email took place in 1978 when it was sent over

    the Arpanet (GARY THUERK)

    • The first Virus was installed on an Apple Computer in 1982

    once ,hence the new virus would be deleted

    • Security Breaches won’t happen

    • Data Privacy will be maximum


    OTHER SAFETY TIPS

     Use antivirus software


     Uninstall unnecessary software
     Check security settings
     Open Attachments carefully
     Don’t give Personal Information unless required
     Avoid clicking on pop-up Ads
     Avoid downloading of Pirated Applications
    CONCLUSION

    • The only system which is truly secured is one which is switched off and
    unplugged.

    • So, the only way to be safe is to pay attention and act smartly.

    • In a way, fighting cybercrime is everybody’s business. Think of it as an


    obligation to do your part in the fight against cybercrime. For most people,
    that means following a few simple, common-sense steps to help keep
    yourself and your family safer.
