Councils (LDCs)

• Members of the Sangguniang barangay;

• Representatives of non-governmental
organizations operating in the barangay who
shall constitute not less than one fourth (¼) of
the members of the fully organized council;

PDRRM Act of (a) Mandates Barangay Disaster Risk Reduction

(Republic Act 10121) Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office
(DRRMO) in every barangay.

setting the direction, development,
implementation and coordination of disaster
risk management programs within their
