INTRODUCTION
 In this study, the researchers will be studying about how medicinal plants, essential oils, and guava leaf
extract have an effect on wound healing by creating a wound salve coming from our natural
resources.Wound healing is a multi-stage, multi-mechanism biological process that helps damaged
tissues regain their normal structure and function. The use of natural medicines such medicinal plants,
essential oils, and guava leaf extract has attracted more attention due to their potential therapeutic
effects even if contemporary medicine has achieved considerable strides in wound care.A wound can
arise with or without microbial growth and is defined as a malfunction in the anatomical and cellular
endurance of the tissue. The continuity of the skin is broken by a wound. Healing is the body's response
to harm and the process through which it restores itself. Trauma triggers the biological process of
wound healing, which is frequently finished by scarring. In this study, guava leaf extract was utilized as
an antiseptic and its effectiveness was compared to treatments that were readily accessible on the
market.Ullah et al. (2022) studied that traditional treatments for a variety of illnesses have
included aloe vera, with the plant's inner gel being the most extensively researched and used
component. According to supporters, these plants are preferred because they are easily
accessible, inexpensive, and have fewer negative side effects than pharmaceutical substances that
are sold commercially.
