WHAT MADE ENZO FERRARI A
SUCCESSFUL ENTERPRENUER
• Enzo Ferrari’s single-minded determination and obsession with car
racing led him to become a legendary sports car producer. As an
accomplished racing driver, engineer, racing team director, and
manufacturer, he dominated competitions worldwide for decades,
and his cars are still a mark of quality today.
WHAT MADE FERRARI A
SUCCESSFUL BRAND
• Ferrari uses racing as its primary branding tool. The team may not have
had its most successful decade, but since its debut in 1950, it has rallied
a fan base of millions - most of them car enthusiasts who are the key
potential buyers of the company
• Thanks to the backing of fellow Italian automaker Fiat, in 1969 Ferrari
suddenly saw a huge increase in available investment funds and work
started on a factory extension
• The thing that makes Ferrari’s cars so good is that its body is made
entirely of carbon fiber, it has the maximum horse power available, and
retains the aerodynamic body type developed in Ferrari's previous
supercars.
FERRARI’S FUTURE PLANS
• Ferrari will build its first electric (EV) sportscar by 2025, it was
revealed today at its annual investor conference. It also admitted that
the traditional screaming thunder of its supercars will give way to 40%
of all production being pure EVs, and 80% electrified, by 2030
• Ferrari also plans 15 new cars by 2026
