Commonly reffrered as

COMMON COSMETIC CONCERNS
OF THE NECK AND BODY

NECK :
1. Wrinkles. BODY :
2. Neck lines. 1. Stretch marks.
3. Skin laxity. 2. Skin laxity.
4. Double chin. 3. Cellulite.
5. Pigmentation. 4. Obesity.

Aging
Composition of connective tissue

◦ Collagen approximately 70 – 80 % : tensile strength.

◦ Elastin 1 – 2 % of the dry weight of skin : skin elasticity, resilience
◦ Glycosaminoglycans 0,1 – 0,3 % : maintain water balance
◦ Fibroblasts
◦ Macrophages
◦ Ground substance

Collagen molecule consists of three polypeptide alpha-
chains, with more than 1000 amino acids in each of them.

AMINO ACID

◦ 33,7 % are presented by glycine.

◦ 13,3 % by proline.
◦ 11,6 % by alanine.
◦ 9,7 % by hydroxyproline.
TO BUILD COLLAGEN WE NEED :

◦ 1. Adequacy of type and number of AA.

◦ 2. Presence in the precursor form ( for some type of AA), to
activate the syntethic drive by fibroblasts.
◦ 3. Continuous availability and presence of AA in specific ratio.

SUMMARY
PURPOSE AND STUDY DESIGN

AIM OF THE STUDY:

clinical and instrumental evaluations the tolerance and the efficacy on aging face as a
biorevitalizer (intradermal injections + standard cosmetic treatment + food supplement)

VOLUNTEERS:
113 females (35-60 y.o.) with low-moderate skin ageing/photoaging

PROTOCOL:
▪ 22 weeks
▪ 4 intradermal implants with the injectable study product were performed
▪ 3 visits (at baseline (T0), 1 month after the last intradermal implant (T1) and 4 months
after the last intradermal implant (T4)): clinical assessment, skin replicas (at the level of
nasolabial folds left or right randomly), photographic documentation (frontal and profile
pictures)

▪ Fast dermal hydration. ▪ Attracts fibroblasts (a cumulative effect with AA).

▪ Active transport of amino acid cluster. ▪ Long lasting hydration => long stimulation of

cell migration (a cumulative effect of an amino

▪ Activation of the repair processes. => long lasting result.
▪ Product exists in dermis more than 15 days =>
▪ A strong antioxidant effect.
recommended for aged skin where all metabolic
processes are less active.
▪ Long lasting stimulation of CD44 =>
maintaining homeostasis, providing regeneration, part

INTRADERMAL INJECTIONS: WHERE AND WHY?

DERMIS:

▪ Papillary dermis (relaxed fibrillary network): collagen fibers of

small diameter, immature elastic fibers

▪ Reticular dermis (dense fibrillary network): collagen fibers,

mature elastic fibers, abundant fibroblasts with a great
proliferative potential and a strong metabolic activity
Intradermal injections produce papules, which cause pain due to
overstretching of epidermal skin layers and acidity of the product:
- Inject smaller amount of product per injection
- Start injecting from the right side of the face (in 90% of people
manipulations on the left side of face and body are more painful)
PRACTICAL RECOMMENDATIONS: FACE

▪ First session: Jalubotox

▪ After 10 days Jalupro 1ml +vial of AA

▪ After 10 days Jalupro 1ml+ vial of AA

RESULTS
▪ Activation of a metabolic processes
▪ Restoring the normal structure of the dermis
▪ Improving and support the nutrition of the tissue
▪ Physiological rejuvenation of collagen structure in the area of injection
