Pitfalls of SWOT analysis

Can be biased based on personal opinions .

Focuses too much on completing the swot grid , rather than thinking deeply
about strategic solutions.

It often gives a long list of strengths , weaknesses , opportunities and

threats but doesn’t tell you which ones are the most important.

It tells you what the problem and opportunities are but doesn’t guide you
on what steps to take next.
CONCLUSION
A SWOT analysis reveals key insights to guide strategy.
Strengths, such as internal capabilities or resources,
should be leveraged to capitalized on external
opportunities , like market growth or emerging trends .
Weaknesses must be addressed to avoid internal
challenges , while threats , including competition or
external risks , required mitigations strategies . Overall ,
the analysis highlights areas for improvement and
growth , offering a road map for informed decision-
making and strategic planning
