IT IS A MENTAL disorder in which nerve cell
activity in the brain is disturbed, causing seizures.
CAUSES AND MAJOR CONCERN !!
• Epilepsy may occur because of a genetic disorder or an acquired brain injury, such as a trauma or stroke. • During a seizure, a person experiences abnormal behavior, involuntary movement of limbs and sensations, sometimes including loss of consciousness . • In India, about 3.4 million people have epilepsy. • Severity of this disease • Can also cause death . • Major Problem !! • Because of Seizure , patients fail to detect and inform doctors on time which leads to delay in medication. Proposed Solution !!! Epilepsy Band !!!! • Epilepsy band has a Hit shock sensor to detect the movement of the patient during nighttime. • If the patient has encountered an attack ,the band tied on one's hand when vibrated in a seizure it will create a buzzing sound so that the family members get aware of the health problem. • It would be also used to inform the emergency services to the family members of the patient. • In this era of technology, the solution to help Epilepsy patient is not available. • This idea of ours is very innovative which can save many lives. This is not about only saving the patients but also to inform the new era about this Unique Selling Proposition
Our product the “Epilepsy Band “ is a useful solution to
detect and reduce the risk factors caused by Epilepsy. The unique selling proposition are : • REDUCE RISK FACTOR- Till date there is no solution which can detect the seizures. It helps in timely treatment and lesser deaths. • COST EFFICIENT- This product is cost efficient as it only costs Rs 300 , so people could easily afford it • PORTABLE- It could be carried easily anywhere without creating any hassle Market Opportunity • Total Epilepsy drug market size is $7 billion and will grow to $9.8billion by 2032 • Total Epilepsy Patients worldwide are 50 million. • Total addressable Market for Epilepsy Band is 15 Billion Rupees. • Even if we target just 1% market in next 3 yrs • Total revenue projection for 3 yrs = 150 million rupees.= 150 crore. Current Stage • The current stage of the product : 1.Prototype is ready and tested. 2.Results are as per the expectation , it is detecting the seizure and intimating the nearest doctor immediately . 3.
