AVK resilient seated gate valves are designed using a wedge fully vulcanised with rubber - internally and externally. With this design no unprotected iron parts are exposed to the medium and the excellent rubber vulcanisation prevents creeping corrosion underneath the rubber. The high quality of AVK rubber is characterised by: • High flexibility, no permanent deformation possible • High durability, no wear of the rubber even after 10,000 operation cycles • High impact resistance preventing damage to the rubber surface • Low friction ensuring low closing torque • EPDM rubber resistant to acid remains, NBR rubber resistant to oil remains Gas Supply Gate valves, PE ball valves and accessories.
