Caller stated they were from Amazon and someone placed $1000 charge on my account

Called twice saying, his name is David Greg, calling from the "U. S. Treasury". He said I needed to call back or I would risk being called before a "Magistrate judge or grand jury" and made to pay a federal offence I have committed (or something like this). I STILL HAVE THE MESSAGE ON THE RECORDER, VERY DISTURBING.. I WILL NOT CALL HIM OR ANSWER THIS #. Hope you can catch this guy or have a TV station announce this, so others know about the calls.

A recording left on my home number for some clown saying his name is David Gregg, or Gray..from the US Treasury Dept. Urging me to call him back or face criminal charge. This was very amateurish - muffled, sounded like an old dude. I'm tempted to call back just to mess w/him, but I'm too busy for that !

Scam: says US Treas... Wants me. Didn't ans left this # and threatening msg.

Called me 3 times today. Claims to be from US Treasury department, a "Legal Officer". Says it is against the law to ignore this call. When I called them back, they claim that a mistake has been made on 2010 tax return, ask if I filed myself or thru a CPA, then wants me to wait while they collect further information. Threatened to send someone to my house within 45 minutes, etc. I knew it was a scam. Strong middle-eastern accent (just like tech support).

Pretending to call from Federal Government. "Failure to return call will result in severe legal action"
