Why are these companies not fined for violating the Do Not Call lists rules?

Caller leaves no message-The DNC list is a big joke. These telemarketers really don't care if you report them because nothing ever happens to them. Also, this site doesn't seem to deter them either.

STOP CALLING. REPEATED CALLS

I am on the do NOT call list and do not wish to be contacted again by this company.

Every single person who's made a complaint here is on the 'Do Not Call' list (including me), so it's obviously ineffective. In fact, I'm beginning to think these telemarketers actually get their calling lists from the DNC registry! Further, I've found the only way to stop the calls is to buy a phone with a "Call Block" feature built into it, because having it as part of my phone SERVICE doesn't stop the calls any more than the National DNC registry does!

Whatever you do, don't press any buttons when they tell you to. This throws you into something else. Do you realize how many people are taken in by this scheme? Elderly people need an advocate if they don't understand. Don't answer the phone if you don't know who's calling!

We were called today again after I told them earlier this week that we are on the "Do not call" list and to quit calling us. When I asked to speak a supervisor, the caller hung up on me.
