Was calling me on my cell phone non stop and then called me at work saying I was going to be arrested told me the company he was supposedly working for when I told him I'm filing for bankruptcy due to my debt he said he didn't care and he was still going to arrest me and that a warrant is already been issued. I've hit hard times and now I'm trying to get my life on track.

I received a call from a man with a heavy Indian accent claiming to be from the Sheriff's office in New York. He claimed that there was a warrant issued for my arrest and that if I didn't call them back that in 3 days a member of my local Sheriff's office would come to my place of employment to arrest me.

Calls coming from area code in bayside new york.I contacted the police dept in that area spoke with an officer daniels .He called to find that the number is for a chinese guy when the person that contacted me was indian.Bottom line is the police officer told me its a scam and to disregard further calls.The police officers number is 718-279-5200.Feel free to call and complain

Caller by name of James Anderson called regarding loan approval -- false; prank -- caller need to be located and charges filed against..;

I recieve a call from this #stating that I recently applied for a loan which I did for $1000 and they were going to finalize it and send the funds within the hour. so they called after I paid the processing fee of $120 I purchased a greendot card as instructed I provided they ask for the number to get the processing fee they called back and stated that there was an error and due to my credit they couldn't deliver funds to my account but they could send it by Western union but I had to pay the fee of $100 so they have I paid that with another greendot card and waited for the number to get th funds from Western union I called back and they stated that the accounting department was closed but they would call me at 9:00 central standard time to give me the pin for Western union to get my funds and it is now 2:00 I did apply for a loan online so I thought they wer legit I know my money is a loss but I don't want anyone else to be a victim

On December 2, 2013, I received a telephone call from a male individual who claimed to be a Sheriff from a New York Sheriff Department stating that he represented Cash America Loan Company and that he had a warrant for my arrest because I would not pay the loan company money for processing a loan for me. I never had a loan with this company and when I asked what County in New York did he work for, the individual refused to tell me. This companyhadmy SSN, phone number and DL number. I told them that I was a retired Deputy Sheriff and wanted to know where in New York. The individual stated that he was going to have me arrested. I plan on filing a report with my local PD about this matter. --- Mark McAvoy.

They are scam artists

this telemarketer contacted my phone pretending to be new york sherriff department with a warrant for my husband and that they represented a cash america loan company. i found that when i called this phone number back a child answered the phone. and i hung up and then waited 10 mins. and called back and got the phone voice mail. this phone number is being used by foreign people who are trying to scam monies out of people.
