Someone called from this number claiming to be James Cooper from Readers Digest and that I had won a prize. The phone number is registered to a person named Shirley so appears they have hijacked this phone number. Please mark as a SCAM!!!

Calling pretending to be someone I know.

Said I won $500,000 and a car. Needed to go get a green dot card from the store and they would be at the bank

Brian Robins said he was with the National Investigations Unit and that I owed money for a loan. When I started asking more questions he become irate. I told him to give me his address so my attorney could contact him regarding the loan. He told me to tell my attorney to be ready to bail me out of jail and hung up on me.

Said he was with the National Investigation Unit. Said i owed almost $600 and am going to get arrested if i didnt pay him. Said he would contact my employer and get me fired. Plus was calling meat work and my cell. Stated he had my social security number, my address, and my bank information.

He called me and said that he was a police and he was investigating and I will have to answer his calls or eles I will have to pay

Claimed they were from a company about a Loan that I applied for.

Called our business and hung up on me when I told them the person he was asking for was not available. Tried to call the number back to report him but line busy

These people lied and said they had been doing business with my grandfather and needed his cell number because they had lost it. Funny, my grandfather has been deceased for almost three years....
