They sent a surprise invoice for a renewal to Time magazine. Time Magazine Customer Service stated that they do not know the company and did not have any relationship to them. The company name they used was MDM. Note that they do not register with the Post Office and use the bulk rate stamps as a way to avoid being found out. They were seeking a price of $69.95 for a subscription that Time sells for $49
Above phone number appears on a mailing that I have received twice, billing me for a magazine subscription that I already paid directly to the publisher back in December. Since my check was cashed, I ignored the first billing and will now contact the publisher directly about this scam.
I've repeatedly requested over the last 4-5 years in writing the mailings stop and they refuse to stop. You can't get through on the phone.
Isn't what they are doing mail fraud if they don't respond? What if I'd paid? There would be no way to contact them!
