I received an unwanted, unsolicited call from an unknown woman caller, who claimed to be with some medical group. She asked for me by my name, with an accent I didn't recognize. She asked about arthritic pain that I supposedly had in my back & knees. I told her that I did not have such pain. I asked her why she had called my number. She then asked me, "You're pre-diabetic, aren't you?". I told her that I am not. Our call was disconnected. I called back the number shown on caller I.D. 718-552-7420. The answering party claimed to have not made the prior call to me. She claimed that she's received 6 other calls like mine, where people said that her phone number has been shown on their phone's caller I.D.s when she had not placed a call to any of them.
