     Anne Gore was the daughter of Vice-Admiral Sir John Gore and Georgiana Montagu.2,3 She married Richard William Penn Curzon-Howe, 1st Earl Howe, son of Hon. Penn Assheton Curzon and Sophia Charlotte Howe, Baroness Howe of Langar, on 9 October 1845.1 She died on 23 July 1877.1
     After her marriage, Anne Gore was styled as Countess Howe on 9 October 1845. From 9 October 1845, her married name became Curzon-Howe.1

     After her marriage, Lady Louisa Jane Russell was styled as Marchioness of Abercorn on 25 October 1832. After her marriage, Lady Louisa Jane Russell was styled as Duchess of Hamilton on 10 August 1868. She was appointed Lady, Royal Order of Victoria and Albert (V.A.) 3rd class.3
