     Sir William St. Quintin, 1st Bt. was born in 1579.² He was the son of George St. Quintin and Agnes Creyke.² He married Mary Lacy, daughter of Robert Lacy, before 1605. He died circa October 1649 at St. Mary's, Beverely, Yorkshire, England^G.²
     He gained the title of 1st Baronet St. Quintin.³

     Emma Philippa Gore was born in 1991.¹ She is the daughter of Timothy Francis Gore and Amanda S. Kingsley.¹

     Ceclia Frances Gore was born in 1992.¹ She is the daughter of Timothy Francis Gore and Amanda S. Kingsley.¹

     Lady Catherine Montgomerie was baptised on 23 October 1677 at Dundonald, Ayrshire, Scotland^G.^2,3 She was the daughter of Alexander Montgomerie, 9th Earl of Eglinton and Margaret Cochrane.¹ She married James Stewart, 5th Earl of Galloway, son of Alexander Stewart, 3rd Earl of Galloway and Lady Mary Douglas, circa 1694.⁴ She died in December 1757 at age 80.¹
     Her married name became Stewart.

     James Stewart, 5th Earl of Galloway was born after 1670.² He was the son of Alexander Stewart, 3rd Earl of Galloway and Lady Mary Douglas.³ He married Lady Catherine Montgomerie, daughter of Alexander Montgomerie, 9th Earl of Eglinton and Margaret Cochrane, circa 1694.⁴ He died on 16 February 1746.⁴
     He succeeded as the 4th Baronet Stewart, of Corsewell [N.S., 1627] on 26 September 1690.⁴ He succeeded as the 5th Earl of Galloway [S., 1623] on 26 September 1690.⁴ He succeeded as the 5th Lord Garlies [S., 1607] on 26 September 1690.⁴ He held the office of a Commissioner of the Treasury [Scotland] from 1705 to 1706.⁴ He was appointed Privy Counsellor (P.C.) [Scotland] in 1706.²

     Lady Euphemia Montgomerie was born circa 1681.² She was the daughter of Alexander Montgomerie, 9th Earl of Eglinton and Margaret Cochrane.^1,3 She married George Lockhart, 2nd of Carnwath, son of Sir George Lockhart, 1st of Carnwath and Hon. Philadelphia Wharton, on 13 April 1697.³ She died on 1 December 1738.³
     Her married name became Lockhart.

     George Lockhart, 2nd of Carnwath was born in 1673.² He was the son of Sir George Lockhart, 1st of Carnwath and Hon. Philadelphia Wharton.³ He married Lady Euphemia Montgomerie, daughter of Alexander Montgomerie, 9th Earl of Eglinton and Margaret Cochrane, on 13 April 1697.⁴ He died on 17 December 1731.⁴
     He lived at Carnwarth, Lanarkshire, Scotland^G.¹ He fought in the Jacobite Rising in 1715.⁴ He wrote the book The Lockhart Papers otherwise Memoirs of Scotland (an account of the 1715 Rising.)⁴ He also had three sons and five daughters who died without issue.⁴

     Lady Grace Montgomerie was born circa 1689.² She was the daughter of Alexander Montgomerie, 9th Earl of Eglinton and Margaret Cochrane.¹ She married Robert Dalzell, 5th Earl of Carnwath, son of Sir John Dalzell, 2nd Bt. and Harriet Murray, circa 19 January 1710.¹ She died in January 1713, without male issue.¹
     From 19 January 1710, her married name became Dalzell. After her marriage, Lady Grace Montgomerie was styled as Countess of Carnwath on 19 January 1710.

     Robert Dalzell, 5th Earl of Carnwath was born circa 1687.¹ He was the son of Sir John Dalzell, 2nd Bt. and Harriet Murray.¹ He married, firstly, Lady Grace Montgomerie, daughter of Alexander Montgomerie, 9th Earl of Eglinton and Margaret Cochrane, circa 19 January 1710.¹ He married, secondly, Grizell Urquhart, daughter of Alexander Urquhart, on 3 June 1720.¹ He married, thirdly, Margaret Hamilton, daughter of John Hamilton, on 15 November 1728.¹ He married, fourthly, Margaret Vincent, daughter of Thomas Vincent and Isabel Packer, on 19 June 1735 at Worksop, Nottinghamshire, England^G.¹ He died on 4 August 1737 at Kirkmichael, Dumfries-shire, Scotland^G.¹
     He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Dalzell [N.S., 1666] in March 1689.¹ He succeeded as the 5th Earl of Carnwath [S., 1639] on 7 June 1702.¹ He succeeded as the 6th Lord Dalzell [S., 1628] on 7 June 1702.¹ He was educated at Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G.¹ He fought in the Battle of Preston on 14 November 1715, for the Jacobites, and was taken prisoner.¹ On 19 January 1715/16 he was impeached, sentenced to death and attainted. Later, his execution was first respited, then remitted.¹

     Lady Jean Montgomerie was born on 1 December 1689.² She was the daughter of Alexander Montgomerie, 9th Earl of Eglinton and Margaret Cochrane.¹ She was baptised on 3 December 1689 at Kilwinning, Ayrshire, Scotland^G.^2,3 She married Sir Alexander Maxwell of Monreith, 2nd Bt., son of Sir William Maxwell of Monreith, 1st Bt. and Elizabeth Hay, on 29 December 1711.¹ She died on 20 February 1745 at age 55 at Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland^G.⁴
     Her married name became Maxwell.
