To help you focus on the road, we’re making it easier to view, accept, and browse Trip Radar requests. Trip Radar is a tool that allows you and other drivers to see and show interest in several trip requests happening nearby.
Here’s what’s new:
See map routes
When you’re not on a trip and driving at speeds higher than 10mph, you’ll now see just one Trip Radar request as well as an overview of the trip route.
Easily browse requests with a swipe
When you’re driving below 10mph or stationary, you can view multiple Trip Radar requests with a map. You can reveal the next request by swiping or tapping X.
Dismiss all requests by swiping down.
Compare trips at a glance
Tap the button at the top to see requests in a list view.
Trip Radar does not impact your acceptance rate
As always, declining a Trip Radar request won’t affect your acceptance rate.
When you decline a Trip Radar trip, you won’t see it again in most cases.
Exclusive trip requests
You’ll continue to receive individual trip requests. Look for the “Exclusive” blue tag on the top of the card.
Frequently asked questions
What is the purpose of Trip Radar?
With Trip Radar, some requests are shared with a handful of drivers at the same time. This means Trip Radar will show you requests you may not have seen otherwise. This helps reduce rider wait time while drivers get to view and show interest in multiple trips at once.
How does Trip Radar affect my acceptance rate?
It doesn’t. When you’re selecting trip requests on Trip Radar, you can go ahead and tap as many as you like. Just like with your usual requests, after you’re matched you can still decide to cancel if you want to.
Can I show interest in multiple Trip Radar requests?
Yes. When several Trip Radar requests are available, you can show interest in multiple trips at once without impacting your acceptance rate.
