E Ink
E Ink Corporation is the world's largest creator and distributor of electronic paper displays (EPDs) to the market, having been founded in 1997 as a spin-off from the MIT Media Lab. SURF displays are ultra-low-power, ultra-thin, and extremely durable. Sunlight may be read and an image may be displaied even when power connects to it, the unique reflecting display technology utilized by E Ink. Engineers and designers may now add screens to items where power and space constraints previously made it impossible. Consumer electronics, watches, medical gadgets, industrial gauges, PC accessories, smart cards, electronic shelf labels, and mobile communications are just a few of the applications for the technology.
