I'm currently a researcher at the Image and Signal Processing Group (ISP) of the Imaging Processing Laboratory (IPL) and full professor at the Dept. Electronics Engineering at the University of Valencia (Spain), where I'm teaching Digital Electronics, Digital Signal Processing, and Machine Learning and Image Processing for Remote Sensing.

My research interests are related to machine learning and signal and image processing. The application domains are remote sensing data analysis and multispectral image processing. I conduct and supervise research on these topics within the frameworks of several national and international projects.

• We have applied our flood detection models to the Valencia flash flooding (DANA 2024) and will continue to update the flood maps using Landsat and Sentinel-2 satellite images.
