Motivation
[edit]Timenote.info is a free, international, multilingual encyclopedia of people, places, and events. It allows anyone to create and contribute information about individuals, including biographical details, family connections, related locations, and associated events. This property links Wikidata items to corresponding person profiles on Timenote.info, facilitating the exchange of information and enhancing the discoverability of biographical data. Because Timenote.info is multilingual, the language of work or name (P407) qualifier is mandatory to specify the language version of the profile. --David Osipov (talk) 14:07, 26 October 2024 (UTC)
Discussion
[edit]- Comment Do you have any examples that aren't your family members (that you presumably added to the website)? William Graham (talk) 14:31, 26 October 2024 (UTC)
- Comment Sure.
- Yuri Nikulin (Q310873) -> https://timenote.info/ru/person/view?id=151 and https://timenote.info/lv/person/view?id=151
- Joseph Stalin (Q855) -> https://timenote.info/en/person/view?id=26089 , https://timenote.info/de/person/view?id=26089 , https://timenote.info/ua/person/view?id=26089
- Frank Sinatra (Q40912) -> https://timenote.info/en/person/view?id=23988 , https://timenote.info/de/person/view?id=23988 David Osipov (talk) 15:29, 26 October 2024 (UTC)
- Comment Wikidata's UI can't handle a "$2". You may want to make this two (or more?) proposals. ArthurPSmith (talk) 00:39, 27 October 2024 (UTC)
- I guess it would not be really efficient. Where can I file for a feature request? David Osipov (talk) 05:56, 27 October 2024 (UTC)
- Since they are multiple formatters (per language) for same ID, we only need one property. Multiple formatters can be handled like Property:P7704#P1630. GZWDer (talk) 12:03, 27 October 2024 (UTC)
- Oooo, I see, it solves the problem! Should I do anything like adjusting the proposal? Thank you for your input. David Osipov (talk) 12:44, 27 October 2024 (UTC)
