Motivation
[edit]w:ja:YAMAP is Japan's most widely used mountain map app / website. It's Japan's equivalent of w:AllTrails, except that it specializes in mountains. It can also be considered to be Japan's version of Peakbagger (Q28736250). You can explore more at https://yamap.com/maps/fullscreen
The ID should point to the URL https://yamap.com/mountains/ (and then insert the ID after that).
The ID value can only be a numerical string. Values should range from 1 - 999999. Almost all YAMAP mountain ID strings have 1-5 numerical places, but we can do 1-6 numerical places just to be safe. They are very much like Wikidata Q IDs in that they start from 1 and then keep continuing.
A very similar property on Wikidata is Peakbagger mountain ID (P3109).
There are many other YAMAP IDs that can be included. Let's start with mountain ID first.

- @Yamatanuki: the examples should have both a Q item and a value - for these examples what is the existing wikidata item they would apply to? See other proposals for how to do this. ArthurPSmith (talk) 00:56, 17 June 2024 (UTC)
- Not done, not created per lack of clarification. Regards, ZI Jony (Talk) 03:40, 30 June 2024 (UTC)
