We’re here to help promote and support ideas and voices of underrepresented groups in Natural Language Processing (NLP).

  • Our goal is inclusivity for people from underrepresented groups.

Deliverables

  • Significantly increase the percentage of people from underrepresented groups in the ACL community.
  • Create a directory of researchers identified with underrepresented groups to increase awareness of who researchers are in NLP.
  • The foundation for a long-term diversity and inclusion effort within ACL.

Goals

  • Increase awareness of the work underrepresented groups do.
  • Support all underrepresented groups in continuing to pursue their research.
  • Motivate long-term resources for underrepresented groups within ACL.
