Currently it is a APIGateway/Lambda/MariaDB based backend deployed/managed with gitlab and OpenTofu. The current front end is based on NodeRed, but we are working on building out a lighter weight front end and reporting system.

How did I transition into this role?

After cruising around the Gulf of Mexico on our sailboat, we ended up in Galveston Bay for hurricane season. After having to make some repairs underway, I decided I needed more experience in repairing sails.
