Daniel Dwyer
My work is currently on pre-conceptual content in perception in the phenomenology of Husserl and Merleau-Ponty. I argue that phenomenology of perception provides the best account of meaning that spans the perceptual and the linguistic. I am also working on the themes of wonder and desire in ancient Greek philosophy and how they find a resonance in contemporary continental thought.
