Heather Hedden is an independent taxonomy consultant who has been working in the field of taxonomies and information management for over 29 years. She provides taxonomy design and development services and taxonomy training through Hedden Information Management. Heather has previously done taxonomy consulting through Enterprise Knowledge, Semantic Web Company, and PPC, and has also been a senior vocabulary editor at Cengage/Gale. She gives workshops on taxonomy creation through different organizations, at conferences, and as corporate training. Heather is author of the book The Accidental Taxonomist, 3rd edition.
