- Abraham was an early 13th-century Scottish cleric who held the position of Bishop of Dunblane. He was a chaplain to the Mormaer of Strathearn, Gille Brígte. There are no exact accounts of his origin, but his name and the background suggest he was a native Scot from Strathearn. There is no evidence to the contrary. Neville wrote that his "Hebrew name conceals an English provenance", but in fact the Hebrew name is more consistent with established Gaelic-naming patterns than with English or French ones. He was a son of a priest, and had at least one son of his own, Arthur by name. Evidence from the charters of Inchaffray Abbey shows that he was bishop-elect by some date between the years 1210 and 1214. A charter from Arbroath Abbey shows he had been consecrated by 4 December 1214. The date of his death is not known, but Radulf was bishop-elect in an Arbroath document datable between 1223 and 1225. Abraham soll ein Sohn eines Priesters gewesen sein und selbst einen Sohn namens Arthur gehabt haben. Er diente ab den 1190er Jahren als Kaplan von Gille Brigte, 3. Earl of Strathearn und bezeugte zahlreiche von dessen Urkunden. Die Earls of Strathearn waren zu dieser Zeit Patronatsherren des Bistums Dunblane, und 1211 oder 1212 wurde Abraham wohl aufgrund des Einflusses des Earls zum Bischof der Diözese gewählt und von William Malveisin, Bischof von St Andrews, zum Bischof geweiht. Auch als Bischof bezeugte Abraham weiterhin zahlreiche Urkunden von Earl Gilbert sowie von , die von Earl Gilbert gestiftet worden war. Abraham wurde aber auch mehrmals von der Kurie beauftragt, in geistlichen Konflikten als Richter zu entscheiden. Er gehörte auch zu den vier Bischöfen, die die Mörder von Bischof Adam of Caithness exkommunizieren sollten. Nach dem Tod von Earl Gilbert 1223 musste sein Sohn und Erbe Robert 1224 in der Kirche von Blackford vor Bischof Abraham schwören, dass er die sehr großzügigen Schenkungen seines Vaters an Inchaffray Abbey anerkannte. Das Todesjahr von Abraham ist unbekannt. Er wird letztmals im Februar 1220 erwähnt, 1225 wurde die Eignung eines neuen Bischofs überprüft. (de)

Na liście z przywileju z opactwa w figuruje jako biskup elekt mniej więcej w latach 1210-1214. Z dokumentu z opactwa w Arbroath wynika, iż był konsekrowany na biskupa 4 grudnia 1214.
