- Akakichi no Eleven (赤き血のイレブン, Akakichi no Irebun, literally "Red-Blooded Eleven") is manga series written by Ikki Kajiwara with drawings by Mitsuyoshi Sonoda. An anime adaption directed by Ken Yamada and produced by Kimio Ikeda, Hiroshi Mishima and Takahashi Noboyuki for Tokyo TV Doga aired between 1970 and 1971, which consists of 52 episodes lasting about 24 minutes. The series aired in Japan on Nippon Television from 13 April 1970 to 5 April 1971, every Monday. In Italy it was broadcast for the first time in 1982, through local TV stations. Other transmissions aired on Super 3, Naples Channel 21 and TMC, with a different assembly of the opening theme and the end, and was better known by the title "ARRIVANO I SUPERBOYS".It is the first anime dedicated to soccer.It gained popularity among male soccer players at the time. In addition, it has been pointed out that the emphasis on spirit theory, technology commentary and had been neglected. (en)

- Arrivano i Superboys (赤き血のイレブン Akakichi no Irebun?, lett. "Gli undici rosso sangue") è un manga scritto da Ikki Kajiwara e disegnato da , pubblicato sulla rivista Shōnen King della Shōnen Gahōsha dal 1970 al 1971. È il primo manga dedicato al calcio. L'autore, lo stesso di L'Uomo Tigre e Rocky Joe, utilizza le medesime tecniche di narrazione delle due serie precedenti, come ad esempio l'esasperazione idealistica dello sport praticato; la serie è tuttavia più realistica rispetto a quelle successivamente incentrate sul calcio. Dal manga è stato tratto un anime, andato in onda in Giappone su Nippon Television dal 13 aprile 1970 al 5 aprile 1971, ogni lunedì alle 19. In Italia è stata trasmessa per la prima volta da Antenna Nord a partire dal 1980, attraverso TV locali.
