- El cartell de la pel·lícula Cuirassat Potemkim fou creat per Alexandr Rodchenko el 1926, havent diverses versions per a la mateixa pel·lícula, El cuirassat Potemkin. El cartell exemplifica el treball i el compromís dels artistes soviètics amb el projecte polític subjacent a la Revolució Rusa d'octubre de 1917. Forma part de la col·lecció de l'Institut Valencià d'Art Modern. Usant una figura romboide central amb el cuirassat, combina disseny gràfic i fotomuntatge per crear una imatge on el cuirassat és el protagonista principal. La imatge clara contrasta amb l'ús agressiu de la pintura, mentre que les línies diagonals també són un tret reconeixible de l'obra. També hi ha un cartell on la figura central és un mariner, amb el cuirassat al fons central. (ca)
- The posters for the movie Battleship Potemkin created by Aleksandr Rodchenko in 1925 became prominent examples of Soviet constructivist art. One version shows a sniper sight on two scenes of Eisenstein's movie, representing two guns of the Battleship. Another version was created in 1926. Being part of collections of museums such as Valencia's IVAM, shows a much clearer image. Using a central romboid figure with the Battleship on it, combines graphic design and photomontage to create an image where the Battleship is the main protagonist. The clear image contrasts with the aggressive use of painting, whereas the diagonal lines are also a recognizable trait of the work. There is also a poster where the central figure is a sailor, with the Battleship on the central background. (en)
