In 1996, Coon was caught lip-syncing his performance at Vancouvers Carnegie Hall. Fans were outraged, and in the following decade Coon struggled to regain his reputation in the music industry. He has remained somewhat reclusive ever since; only playing smaller, occasional gigs throughout the city. (en)
