- Buddyprisen (established 1956 in Oslo, Norway) is an award, given annually by the Norwegian Jazz Forum to a Norwegian jazz musician that has "been an excellent performer and significantly involved in Norwegian jazz by other means". The award was accompanied by a statue portraiting the New Orleans trumpeter Buddy Bolden, made by visual artist . From 1987, recipients have received a travel grant; in 2011, the grant amounted to NKR 50,000. The awards ceremony takes place at the club "Bare Jazz" in Oslo. In 2009, the prize was awarded at "Dokkhuset" in Trondheim. (en)
- Der Buddyprisen (dt. Buddy-Preis) ist der wichtigste Jazzpreis Norwegens. Der seit 1956 vom Norsk Jazzforum (Norwegisches Jazzforum) in Oslo jährlich an einen Jazzmusiker des Landes verliehene Preis ehrt Musiker, die exzellente Interpreten sind und auch sonst deutlich am norwegischen Jazz beteiligt sind. Der Preis wird auch Buddy genannt. Er besteht aus einer Skulptur, die den Trompeter Buddy Bolden darstellt und von der Bildhauerin gestaltet wurde, und seit 1987 noch zusätzlich aus einem Reisestipendium, das 2013 NKR 50.000 betrug. Die Preisverleihung findet in der Regel im Jazzclub Bare Jazz in Oslo statt. (de)
