- Fluppy Dogs is a one-hour animated television special that aired on November 27 (Thanksgiving), 1986 on ABC. It was intended to be a pilot for the third Walt Disney Television animated series, but the show was cancelled due to the special's low ratings. It featured five pastel-colored, or "fluppy", talking dogs that came through a fluppy interdimensional doorway and into the lives of Jamie and his teenage neighbor Claire. The dogs were the intended prey of the evil miser Wagstaff. Animation was supplied by TMS Entertainment, who had previously been contracted by Disney on another concurrently running animated series, Adventures of the Gummi Bears. (en)

Avrebbe dovuto essere l'episodio pilota della terza serie televisiva della Walt Disney Television Animation, ma la serie fu cancellata a causa dei bassi ascolti dello speciale (che fu il programma della ABC meno visto della settimana). Premiera filmu miała miejsce 27 listopada 1986 na amerykańskim kanale ABC z okazji Dnia Dziękczynienia. Początkowo był to godzinny pilot filmu, a także miała odbyć się premiera trzeciego serialu animowanego wytwórni The Walt Disney Company zaraz obok Wuzzli i Gumisiów, jednakże emisja serialu została anulowana z powodu niskiej oglądalności filmu. W Polsce premiera filmu odbyła się 8 listopada 1997 na antenie TVP1 w ramach bloku Walt Disney przedstawia w wersji lektorskiej czytanej przez polskiego aktora Tomasza Kozłowicza. (pl)
